This all started from a suggestion by the Larsen family.  Years ago, we were having a quiet dinner in Chelsea.  Beautiful Gwyneth Larsen sat to the left of me and her parents across.  Hey, Aly, instead of buiding a contraption to suspend 150 dancers on our farm, why not suspend them underneath the Poughkeepsie Railway Bridge?  And so the journey began in the summer of 2008.  Iwan Axt and I spent hours that summer commuting back and forth from NYC to New Paltz.  We filmed the bridge, took hundreds of photographs, and began to ask the locals, what do you think if we created massive shapes with hundreds of bodies, 200 feet in the air?  And 5 permits, 100 dancers, 3 different companies of technicians and professional riggers, and 1.5 years later, here we are.
